About ICAN
The Interdisciplinary Center for Analytics on the Nanoscale (ICAN) is a service facility within the Center for Nanointegration Duisburg-Essen (CENIDE). ICAN's objective is to provide and expand expertise in the field of surface and nanoanalysis, and to make efficient use of existing resources in this area. The methodological focus of ICAN is the microscopy center in the NanoEnergieTechnikZentrum (NETZ), where ICAN operates sophisticated instruments for sample preparation and analysis. In addition, ICAN provides services for decentralized sample preparation and analysis equipment operated by the university's faculties.
