Terahertz time-domain spectroscopic data of different polymers with different thicknesses
Terahertz time-domain spectroscopy can be used for the extraction of electrical properties from materials. The extraction of the parameters can be done either in reflection or transmission geometry. To determine the exact type of material, the sample’s thickness and incidence angle of the radiation must be well known. However, the differentiation between materials can be realised by using a neural network. To address this question, multiple terahertz time-domain spectroscopic transmission measurements of 16 polymers were done with different thicknesses.
