This series documents the central results of the application-oriented research project "Climate Initiative Essen - Acting in a New Climate Culture".
In the cooperation between research institutions, city administration and municipal companies, a wide range of questions and research fields were addressed.
At this point, central results of a scientific nature as well as experiences from practical cooperation with the city administration and municipal companies are presented.
The research results refer to the 5-year implementation phase of the project (duration from 05/2011 to 05/2016).
The project Climate Initiative Essen is funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research under the funding code 03SF0412B.
