Synthesis and X-ray crystal structures of homotrimetallic Zinc Bisureate Complexes
Alkane elimination reactions of the tethered bis(urea) proligand 1,4‐(tBuNHCONH)2‐C4H8 (1) with ZnR2 (R = Me, Et, nPr) yielded trimetallic zinc complexes [RZn‐1,4‐(tBuNHCON)2‐C4H8]2Zn [R = Me (2), Et (3), and nPr (4)]. 2 – 4 were characterized by heteronuclear NMR (1H, 13C) and IR spectroscopy, elemental analysis, and single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction.
