Open Access an der Universitätsbibliothek Duisburg-Essen: Schwerpunkt Medizin
Der Artikel liefert zunächst einen kurzen Überblick über die gesamt universitäre Entwicklung von Open Access an der Universität Duisburg-Essen (UDE). Daran anschließend wird der steigende Open-Access-Anteil bei den Publikationen an der UDE nachgezeichnet, mit Fokussierung auf den Goldenen Open-Access-Weg und die Verwaltung des Publikationsfonds. Die Besonderheiten einer publikationsstarken Medizinischen Fakultät werden ebenso berücksichtig wie die neuesten Entwicklungen bei den Verlagsmitgliedschaften und die Abwicklung von Veröffentlichungen bei dem DEAL-Partner Wiley.
The article first provides a brief overview of the overall university development of open access at the University of Duisburg-Essen (UDE). It then traces the increasing proportion of open access publications at the UDE, with a focus on the golden open access path and the administration of the publication fund. The special features of a medical faculty with a strong publishing capacity are taken into account, as are the latest developments in publishing memberships and the handling of publications by DEAL partner Wiley.
