In addition to the institutional repository DuEPublico, there are disciplinary repositories and research data centres that enable the publication of research data on specific topics and subject areas across institutions.

Here, it may be possible to achieve greater visibility of the data publication in the respective disciplinary community than in DuEPublico, where only research data from UDE members can be published. You can find an overview of all research data repositories at Re3data .

It is not yet possible for you to upload and describe your research data in DuEPublico yourself. However, please contact us and we will do this for you in consultation with you. DuEPublico supports the upload of all common file types. We recommend open, well-documented formats that contribute to long-term readability and a description of the research data that is as detailed as possible using metadata.

Publications on DuEPublico are always open access. The authors retain the rights to the research data. This means that "All rights reserved" always applies and therefore only reading, downloading for personal use and use within the citation right or the copyright limitation regulations is permitted.

For an open access publication, we recommend the use of a free licence, as this facilitates the dissemination and use of your research results.
With Creative Commons licences, you as the author define the terms of use for your data (‘release some rights’ or ‘some rights reserved’).
There are other open content licences for software, which can be selected during the publication process

Please contact us, if a licence is missing.
Information about free licences like the creative commons licences can be found on the web pages of the University Library .
