Sachgruppe der DNBAbstract
A new method for the phosphatation of a cement mortar surface to avoid an unauthorised increase of pH-value in drinkingwater when new cement mortar lined pipes are put
into service is described in the dissertation of lohmann (1999). A fast, easy and cheap 2-Steps-Application of the conditioning reagents is
developed. Because of the in-line manufacturing in the plant the treated cement mortar lined pipes can be mounted directly after a short flushing time. The reactants used in this method are dihydrogenphosphate and
calciumhydroxyde. The chemical and physical processes during the treatment are investigated and described with different wet chemical and x-ray
methods. Particularly the evidence of hydroxylapatite was examined. In between a cement mortar lined pipe treated with this method is
successfully put into service
