The Collaborative Research Centre/Transregio196 MARIE (“Mobile Material Characterization and Localization by Electromagnetic Sensing”) has developed a modular research data management framework that covers the complete data life cycle. By combining tailored tools with a metadataschema for terahertz research, MARIE ensures reproducibility, transparency, and sustainability across institutions and disciplines. This approach not only strengthens collaboration within the CRC but also lays the basic structure for a future public database that will benefit the global terahertz research community.
