Module 1: Linear Algebra

Module 1 offers an introduction to the fundamentals of linear algebra. We begin with the definition of vectors and covers basic vector operations such as addition, subtraction, and scalar multiplication. Subsequently, matrices, their dimensions, and various types of special matrices are introduced, including square, symmetric, identity, diagonal, and triangular matrices. The next section is dedicated to matrix operations. Here, addition, scalar multiplication, matrix multiplication, transposition, and the methods for determining the inverse and the determinant of a matrix are explained. We conclude with an introduction to eigenvalues and eigenvectors.
