Interpersonal Connectedness Mediated By Technology : Collections of Constructs and Measurement Instruments

The following collections are intended to provide an overview of theoretical constructs (Part A) and measurement instruments (Part B) related to interpersonal connectedness. As part of the VEREINT* project, we identified central, related and side constructs in correspondence with our research focus: interpersonal connectedness mediated by technology over distance. Guided by these constructs, we collected measurement instruments that are used in the research field of technology-mediated connectedness. By systematically identifying and organizing these elements, we seek to support researchers in understanding and assessing how digital technologies shape human connections across spatial and temporal boundaries. While we have aimed for breadth and relevance, we do not claim that our collections of constructs and measurement instruments are exhaustive. Rather, they are intended as a foundation for further exploration, adaptation, and extension in diverse research contexts.
