During the coronavirus pandemic, the "Transcampus" was developed as a digital place of learning and interaction. It is based on a padlet map, which is produced and shaped by the student participants, and over the course of the semester gradually became a place of experience on its own. Building on conceptual thoughts on place and place-making, preliminary considerations on the possibilities of digital place-making and the emotional attachment to digitally based teaching-learning platforms are presented.
