The INF project aims to assist researchers in managing their data to create synergistic effects and significantly advance projects within CRC 1430. Given the dataintensive nature of these fields, proficiency in data management and documentation during collection, analysis, publication, long term storage, archiving, and reuse is essential. A key prerequisite for successful data sharing and reuse according to the FAIR principles is the creation of rich metadata, which represent the potential analysis dimensions of datasets. The INF project aids CRC members in effective research data management by providing dedicated software solutions for data handling, such as the imaging platform OMERO, the electronic lab notebook (ELN) software elabFTW, and the data repository software Dataverse.
