This cumulative dissertation constitutes of six articles that can be read independently. The first three articles focus on retail investors on financial markets. Articles four and five discuss how personality traits affect the decision-making of finance professionals. Article six picks up on a contemporary topic, the COVID-19 pandemic, and looks at how individuals react to variations in COVID-19 reporting.
