4209  Die größere Ausdifferenzierung von Wissen und Sinn bedeutet nicht notwendig, das wir genauer sagen könnten, wie sich Sinnbildungsprozesse vollziehen, besonders dann nicht, wenn es um die Auseinandersetzung mit Kunst geht. Es wird in diesem Artikel der Frage nachgegangen, wie die Selbst- und Weltbildkonstruktion und Sinnerzeugung bei der Rezeption qualitativ hochwertiger Video-Kunst verlaufen und welche Rolle eine Künstlertheorie dabei spielen kann. Dies wird exemplarisch an der Doppelvideoinstallation »Fervor« von Shirin Neshat unter Einnahme einer subjektiven Perspektive vorgeführt.
